He has a Bachelor degree of Computer Science, a Master degree of Computer Application Technology, and he is currently a PhD candidate in the Computer Science Department at Georgia State University.
He believes powerful computers with massive data will bring the next technology revolution. Therefore, he loves data and he was a researcher on Data Mining, Time Series Prediction and Artificial Neural Networks. At present, when pursuing his PhD degree, he is working on Dynamic-Data-Driven Modeling and Simulation. He has successfully applied sequential Monte Carlo (SMC) methods to wildfire data assimilation. His current research interest is to develop a general SMC data assimilation framework for complex spatial systems.
Besides being a researcher, he is also a quasi-professional DOTA player and soccer player, and he loves cats.
