NSF Research Experience for Undergraduates


WHAT IS IT?

An eight-week experience in the heart of Atlanta in which students work with faculty advisors, industry advisors, graduate student mentors, and other undergraduate students to complete a research project under the guidance of faculty and industry advisors. Undergraduate students in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering or other related fields, especially underrepresented groups, are encouraged to apply.


WHAT DO YOU GET?

  • 8-week Stipend of $4,800
  • A Meal Allowance of $1,350
  • A travel allowance of $500
  • Free housing at the Georgia State University Campus
  • Travel support to present their work at conferences
