Call for Submissions for 2019 Spring CS Student Poster/Demo Day (download a flyer for this event)

Time: Friday, April 26, 2019, 1:00-3:00 pm

Place: College of Arts & Sciences Event Center, 25 Park Place, 2nd floor (add this event to your calendar)

The 2019 Spring CS Student Poster & Demo Day event provides an opportunity for CS students (both undergrads and graduate students) to present and demonstrate their latest research and development work. Come to see the many exciting projects from various groups at the computer science department. The event is sponsored by the Georgia State University Department of Computer Science, ACM Student Chapter, and IEEE Student Chapter.

This is a great opportunity to show your work and see what other students are up to. Snacks and drinks will be provided. The event will feature a poster/demo competition based on evaluation and votes from faculty and invited guests from industry during the event. The best posters/demos will be recognized and awarded.

Who Can Participate
Poster/demo submissions are open to both undergrads and graduate students in the CS department. A poster/demo can be related to research or class projects. If it is based on a class project, you need to include the class instructor as the mentor. We strongly encourage Ph.D. candidates to participate in this event to present their research.

Decisions
All submissions will go through a review process to ensure the quality and correct format of the submissions. Due to the volume of submissions we will not provide detailed feedback to each of the submissions. Participants will be contacted via email regarding the decisions. If your work has been accepted, you will be required to finalize and print your poster through a separated submission link by the stipulated deadlines (details here).
