I’m a PhD candidate in the Computer Science department at Georgia State University. I work in data visualization; my core area of research being spatio-temporal data visualization. In simpler terms, my goal is to find out answers about “if you have a dataset containing spatial information (maybe location, names of places etc.) and timestamps – are there any alternative ways of visualizing the data besides maps?”. My main contribution to this area of research is Storygraphs. You can read more about it in the Research page.

Besides research, I also like to code small hobby projects, design (as in graphic design), and write. The side projects showcases some of my non-research related work. Few of them, are just reinvention of the wheel (for sake of practicing).
